This is to notify all Ijaw sons and daughters that a very important General Meeting of Ijaw Foundation by teleconference is scheduled for Saturday the 20th of June 2020 to advance the Ijaw Agenda for Survival, Security and Self-Determination by implementing our comprehensive Plan of Action with clearly defined strategies to rescue the Ijaw Nation and people from the ruthless oppression, repression, ecocide, plague of insecurity and episodic genocide we suffer in Nigeria.

Ijaw Foundation belongs to all Ijaws. Consequently, every Ijaw son or daughter has an inalienable fundamental right as well as a patriotic duty to participate in the affairs of Ijaw Foundation. As Ijaw sons and daughters, we have collective responsibility for the security, welfare and progress of the Ijaw Nation. We therefore request that no Ijaw son or daughter sits on the sidelines. We urge all Ijaws to attend the Ijaw Foundation General Meeting, participate in the various Ijaw Foundation Committees, and contribute their quota to advance the Ijaw Agenda and fulfil the yearnings and aspirations of our Ijaw people for survival, security, liberty, peace, progress, prosperity and a glorious posterity.
